Providing development aid for youth and childrens' education and training
changing-lives Verein Switzerland is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and empowering young people through education, training, and funding grassroots initiatives. By providing financial support to impactful projects and programs, we help equip youth with essential skills for employment and self-reliance. Our work addresses root causes of immigration, promotes equality, integrates health, environmental awareness, and civic engagement into education, and drives lasting, positive change in individuals and communities.
We are on a journey to empower young people from low-income backgrounds through education and training, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to break free from the cycle of poverty. We are committed to fostering equality, promoting sustainable development, and creating opportunities for meaningful employment or self-employment. By integrating health, environmental awareness, and civic engagement into education, we aim to inspire lasting, positive change in individuals and communities.
Hope, courage, and responsibility are values that have guided our journey and continue to inspire our mission of changing-lives. Hope fuels our belief in a brighter future for the youth and communities we serve. But hope alone is not enough. It must be paired with courage, the courage to confront challenges, innovate, and push boundaries. And with courage comes responsibility, the responsibility to act with integrity, to steward resources wisely, and to remain unwavering in our commitment to reducing poverty, inequality, and youth unemployment.
We are running programs in Uganda and Cambodia including an emergency relief fund for those in urgent need, a skills development program empowering youth with free vocational training, and community schools offering free quality education to children in rural areas.
